About The Belgium national men's football team

The Belgium national men's football team is the national-level football team of Belgium, a Western European country. Founded in 1895, it is managed by the Royal Belgian Football Association and participates in FIFA Tier 1 matches.
Known as the "Red Devils of Europe," the Belgium national team has achieved impressive results in the history of major international FIFA Tier 1 tournaments and was one of the participating teams in the first World Cup. At the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, Belgium defeated Spain in the quarter-finals but was eliminated by Argentina 0-2 in the semi-finals; subsequently, they lost to France in the third-place play-off to finish in fourth place. In the European Championship, the team won the third place at the 1972 Belgian European Championship, which they hosted, and became runners-up at the 1980 European Championship.
