The Argentina national men's football team (Argentina national football team) specifically refers to Argentina's men's senior-level football team and is managed by the Argentine Football Association.

Team History
In 1921, the Argentina national team won their first South American Championship title, and went on to claim the title three more times in the following decade. On July 31, 2019, the Argentine Football Association announced that Lionel Scaloni would officially take up the position of head coach of the Argentina men's national football team, with a contract running until 2022. On July 11, 2021, the Argentina national team defeated Brazil 1-0 in the Copa América final, winning a major tournament title for the first time since 1993. On December 18, 2022, in the final of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the Argentina national team drew 3-3 with France after regular time and extra time, and won the championship with an aggregate score of 7-5 via a penalty shootout.

Nowadays
On July 15, 2024, in the Copa América final, Lautaro Martínez scored the only goal of the match, helping the Argentina national team defeat Colombia 1-0 in extra time and secure three consecutive major tournament titles. On December 19, the Argentina national men's football team ranked first in the 2024 year-end FIFA Men's National Team Ranking.
