After the game, Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois also talked about the English defender’s treatment at Anfield. He said: “Arnold didn’t join a rival of Liverpool like Manchester United; he went to Real Madrid. I hope Liverpool fans can eventually forgive him and remember the trophies he won with Liverpool.”
