In Galatasaray's 3-0 victory over Gaziantep, Sané's debut was lackluster, and the coach quickly sought to temper expectations. It is clear that the new signing "is still adapting," emphasized Broc. Sané had previously played the full 90 minutes in the opening match of the Super League. The 29-year-old launched attacks from the left wing but failed to hit the target with any of his three shots. Furthermore, Sané made 19 mistakes. He has not yet fully integrated into his new club's system.
Turkish media were unimpressed with the summer signing. "The forward's performance fell far short of expectations," wrote Morning Newspaper. However, Galatasaray places greater emphasis on Sané's performance in the Champions League. "He knows this competition and understands the goals we aim to achieve.
