Latest reports suggest Tottenham are in shock talks with Manchester City over Savinho, but the Citizens are demanding over £50 million for the Brazilian winger.
The two clubs have discussed a potential deal, though City have no intention of selling the player who has made 48 appearances since his England debut.
Savinho joined City from sister club Troyes last summer for £31 million, scoring 3 goals and providing 10 assists in all competitions.
Pep Guardiola rarely blocks players who want to leave, and football director Hugo Viana has held talks with Spurs, indicating the Brazil international is open to exploring his options.
Guardiola stated at the weekend that he doesn’t expect any new signings after City brought in five new players, including attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki from Lyon.
It’s understood Tottenham manager Thomas Frank rates Savinho highly and is eager to strengthen his attacking options before the season starts.
Meanwhile, Everton continue negotiations over a loan deal for Jack Grealish, who did not travel to Italy with City and missed last week’s friendly against Preston.
