Barcelona sporting director Deco stated in a media interview a few days ago that the club is capable of signing "two, three or four players" this summer to strengthen the squad. With the arrival of goalkeeper Joan Garcia, Barça's first signing of the summer, Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams is expected to be the next addition.

Additionally, Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford remains a potential target for Barça's attacking reinforcements this summer. Given the English international's determination to wear the Barcelona jersey, the club hasn't ruled out the possibility of signing him.

The club's plan is clear: the top target for the winger position is Nico Williams. However, even if the Athletic Bilbao winger joins, manager Hansi Flick believes Rashford's arrival would expand tactical options. Rashford's pace on the wings and ability to play as a center-forward would enhance squad depth, providing a viable backup for Polish veteran Robert Lewandowski.

Furthermore, Rashford's versatility in attack—capable of playing as a center-forward, winger, or second striker—offers new manager Flick greater tactical flexibility and lineup choices, allowing more dynamic tactical arrangements.

Rashford is evidently unwilling to give up his dream of joining Barcelona. As long as there's a sliver of opportunity in the transfer market, he's ready to fight for it. To that end, he's openly stated a willingness to make "sacrifices," including reducing his salary to a level that would allow Barça to register him. It's reported that he has informed Barcelona of his readiness to lower his wages to meet the club's registration requirements.
