Lille demand €40m in full for Chevalier; PSG growing frustrated, Donnarumma hard to offload

Latest reports indicate that Paris Saint-Germain have hit some bumps in their summer transfer plans.
Beyond Zabarnyi, PSG are also eager to sign 23-year-old goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, and like with Zabarnyi, the personal terms of the deal have been agreed.
However, the negotiation standoff between Lille and PSG mirrors the earlier tug-of-war with Bournemouth over Zabarnyi. Since talks began, PSG have made two verbal offers to Lille, both rejected. Their latest bid is €40 million (including bonuses), but Lille are insistent on €40 million (excluding bonuses).
Lille's management has clarified to PSG that a deal can only be sealed under two conditions: first, PSG must move closer to meeting their financial demands – the gap is now small; second, they need to find a replacement for Chevalier. Neither goal has been met yet, but Lille say they won't block the player's transfer. PSG are growing frustrated with the negotiation tone, though they haven't abandoned the potential move so far.
Meanwhile, PSG are also addressing Gianluigi Donnarumma's situation. The Italian goalkeeper, who was supposed to leave in early June, remains at the club, and PSG have no intention of keeping two first-choice goalkeepers.
Unlike Zabarnyi, Chevalier has stayed calm in recent days. Whether in training or matches, the goalkeeper has kept smiling and maintained a composed demeanor.
