PSG Could Sign Rodrygo; Florentino Will Personally Intervene If Real Madrid Pursue Rodri

Reports suggest that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) may look to sign Rodrygo to replace the potentially departing Bradley Barcola, while Florentino Pérez has identified Rodri as a clear transfer target for Real Madrid, and he will personally intervene if the club moves to sign him.

Liverpool are likely to pursue Barcola in the summer transfer window, and Barcola’s potential departure is forcing PSG to seek a replacement in the market. This will prompt them to consider a major signing, with Rodrygo emerging as one of the best fits for their needs.

Rodrygo now has a new transfer option: joining a club that can offer a high salary and provide Real Madrid with a reasonable transfer fee. Although relations between PSG and Real Madrid remain strained due to the Mbappé incident, money is seen as the best way to resolve any past issues in professional sports.

Meanwhile, Rodrygo could also join Tottenham Hotspur. It is expected that Spurs will make an offer to Real Madrid next week. While the amount may fall short of the requested €90 million, it will be fairly close when including add-ons, and the player would ensure participation in next season’s Champions League.

However, Rodrygo is not the only player close to leaving Real Madrid. Ferland Mendy, David Alaba, and Dani Ceballos are all players the club prioritizes for sale. There have been no clear developments so far, but Real Madrid would be willing to sell these players to raise funds if suitable offers come in.

Despite Real Madrid believing their transfer business has concluded, signing Rodri is regarded as a clear target for Florentino Pérez. In this potential signing, Florentino will personally oversee the entire operation without relying on any department or management. He knows full well that if Rodri joins, all of this must be done personally by him.
