Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes gave an interview to Camel Live after his side’s 1-1 draw with Fulham.
When talking about missing the penalty, Bruno Fernandes said:
“I’m frustrated. As a penalty taker, you have your own habits and your own routines.
It upset me because the referee didn't apologise. That is what triggered me in that moment, but that's not the excuse for missing the penalty.
I struck the ball really badly when I took the shot. My foot was too close to the ball, which is why it ended up flying over the crossbar.”
