According to camel.live reporters, on the day José Mourinho was officially announced as Benfica’s head coach for the second time, he arrived in Seixal driving a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. This car was a gift from Roman Abramovich to Mourinho back in 2008.
In February 2008, just a few months after Mourinho left Chelsea, Abramovich presented the Portuguese coach with a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti Sessanta. This model was a limited-edition release to celebrate Ferrari’s 60th anniversary, with only 60 units produced. At the time, its market value was approximately 300,000 euros.
This luxury GT grand tourer, designed by Pininfarina and produced between 2004 and 2011, is not a typical "track-focused Ferrari" but a high-end vehicle built for four people. Powered by a 5.7-liter V12 engine that delivers 540 horsepower, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and reach a top speed of over 320 km/h.
The Sessanta commemorative edition is even rarer. According to reports at the time, Mourinho had long expressed interest in this model, so Abramovich had the limited-edition sports car delivered directly to his doorstep. This incident resurfaced when Mourinho arrived in Seixal driving the Ferrari, and the footage quickly generated a buzz on social media.
