Athletic Bilbao has just announced the contract extension of winger Nico Williams through 2035, doubling his buyout clause. In the official announcement video, Nico approached the graffiti wall featuring his image previously vandalized repeatedly—and spray-painted the words “WIN 2035.”
The video then cuts to the dressing room at Bilbao's San Mamés Stadium, where Nico provided his explanation:
"When making decisions, the most important thing for me is to follow my heart.
"I'm exactly where I want to be. This is my home. ¡Athletic!".
