Klopp recently shared his thoughts on Wirtz, stating that he believes Wirtz will prove himself at Liverpool.
Klopp said: “Yes, Wirtz will prove himself. Even though I don't know exactly where Slot wants Wirtz to play, they will definitely play some fantastic games. I'm convinced of that.”
“When you're champions, it's hard to strengthen the team further, but Liverpool have done it. They've signed this talented player in Wirtz, and I'm really looking forward to seeing him play. It's going to be great.”
Wirtz moved to Liverpool in July this year for €125 million. Last season, he scored 16 goals and provided 14 assists for Bayer Leverkusen, while also being a key contributor to Leverkusen's Bundesliga title win in the 23/24 season.
